Durable and elegant, our Indigo Collection combines artful, one-of-a-kind, pieced upcycled denim with sturdy waxed cotton and time-honored railroad denim. The chevron denim front includes a zippered pocket for any valuables. An open pocket in the back is easy to access for anything on hand: phone, grocery list, day planner. The inside is open and deep enough to fit an iPad or water bottle. All hardware is brass and complemented with leather straps.Each bag is a little different and unique like you. We have them listed in two colors (Blue and Reverse) and will vary slightly from the picture.

HOW AM I MADE

The ZIP collection is manufactured in the REcreate designs' production house in Polson, MT using reclaimed jeans, deadstock fabric (waste of the fashion industry), and waxed cotton. The process begins by deconstructing discarded jeans that we acquire from local second-hand shops. The Ithat tell a story and are one-of-a-kind just like you.Each bag comes with its own serial no. to track how much material we reclaim and divert from the landfill each year. By eliminating the need to produce new and raw materials, upcycling helps conserve natural resources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We estimate diverting 3000lbs of waste from the landfill each year.
